just connect them to a fuse that turns on and off with the car.. like cd player fuse.. or any fuse that does turn on and off with the car. thats how my friends and i have done it, no problems ever..

Thanks for sharing that idea about the fans, just went to HiFi Buys today and the dude reminded me about placing some fans in there to keey everything cool, and w/ that remote hook-up they won't be on all the time.
