I installed my head unit out of my Civic into my 99 Integra GSR.

I have some aftermarket keyless entry system. After I put in the new head unit my keyless ceased to work.

The kill switch works, so that I have to disarm it before it will start.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

The keyless entry system is tied into one of the harnesses that goes to the radio. There should have been an extra harness that you didn't use to hook up your new stereo. All you have to do is get a safety pin and jump two of the wires together. Unfortunately I am not sure which two wires. Call Best Buy or Circuit city and they should be able to tell you. Let me know what you find out.

 

Hmm, I don't have a Honda Keyless system. I don't believe that they ran it through the head unit on the Integra's. The only wire I clipped on my new harness was the one for the power antenna.

Pulled the fuse and put it back in and it started working again .
