Default Put on new Manifold Gasket and painted manifold....

Finally, the new gasket came in..... and i decided just for the hell of it, to paint the manifold since they look like shite after a while.... dont care if the paint burns off....

Oh... and yes, there is a nut missing still... gotta find it. And the heat shield will go back on when i finish it tomorrow.

Moral of the story- No more exhaust leaks!!!!

I was gonna ask why ur putting the cover back on too, but I see you answered it already.

It came out pretty nice, especially considering they are usually all rusted and corroded. Did you sand it or what?

And FYI, I painted my DC 4-2-1 header metallic silver w/Hi Heat engine paint and I don't have any issue w/the paint peeling, chipping or burning off. The only issue I have is that I put em on before letting the paint cure enough and it peeled slightly on the bends, but after curing, no issues at all.
