Im assuming it will start if you turn the ignition, or no? doesnt sound like it would make a difference, and it doesnt seem to be a problem with the remote start since the engine is turning over, when its crancking, give it a little tap on the accelorator

Seems like the obvious difference between using the key vs. using the remote, is the immobilizer.
Do you know how your remote starter deals with the immobilizer? Normally, if you use a key without the chip in it, the starter will crank but the ECU won't let the engine start.
One way to check this is to tape one of your keys to the steering column right at the ignition switch. Then try the remote. If this works, then you know it's the immobilizer.
How long has the remote starter been in there? Does it have a warranty?

the romote starter has been installed for a long time, possible 1.5 yrs i think. It worked well until now. i think i have a warranty but i can't find it. anyway, i'll jus take my car to the shop that installed this n tell them to fix. thanks for all your inputs.

Try what I suggested. Plus, try your remote starter by standing somewhere you can see the dashboard. Does the cluster light up like it does when you use the key?
If your remote starter works by simply hanging a good key right next to the ignition switch, then that confirms it being the immobilizer.
Have you added a key lately? When you program a key to work, what you're REALLY doing is programming the CAR to accept the key. But if they didn't include the remote starter, it might not be recognized any longer.
