Default Replacement alternator?

Ive read a couple threads about how the 6th gen V6's get stuck with inferior Delco/Delphi alternators (you dont wanna know how many I went thru on my Chevy Beretta), but the I4's get a nice Denso 'nator.

I was wondering, is there any way/where to get a Denso replacement for a 6th gen V6? I realize the I4's only have 80 amps and the V6's have 105, but Im sure Denso makes a 105 amp alternator for something, no?

I hear noises coming from the accessory area of my engine compartment........its at the dealer right now being checked, but if it is the alternator, Id like to see if somehow I can get them a replacement to put on.

Thanks!!!

why don't you check with some stereo places....car audio or whatever....they usually have ties with companies that offer upgraded alternators (used to keep up with high power systems) but i'm not sure what would be available....i know that the high output alternators are there, but not sure about the inbetween, but i don't see why not
