It is louder, for me around 4000 RPM in particular, sounds real nice. And I felt a little more "get go" or whatever you wanna call it, heh.

It'll be a lot louder vs. just having your resinator off. At idle and low RPM you won't notice much, just the wooshing sound of the air, but when you punch it, that sucker growls. Performance wise, I think the sound equates more towards thinking you are feeling better power.

louder or deeper? when i had my reasonator out.... it was really deep, almost to where it was annoying..... because the deep noise MADE the car sound faster, although it moves so slow.

I got one, took it off after a week. Just made noise more than anything. I lost some low end torque, and at the upper end all it did was make lots of noise. I don't see what's cool about your car roaring all loud when you get on it to merge etc, bu you are going just as fast as the quiet cars haha It would be one thing if all that noise was accompanied with noticeable power gains.

Maybe it's because of my autotragic, but I just didn't like it.

It did look good in the engine bay though

I just got my replacement CAI back from AEM. I had one that broke and it had the bypass filter. I like it a lot more with out it. I was driving around the past month with the stock air box and a paper filter. There definately was a difference when I put the CAI back on. If you've got a 5spd you'll notice it.

sound wise, the 5spd will deffinately notice it more as it'll chirp every gear change....whereas in us automatic owner's cars you barely notice the thing...especially if you had an exhaust before hand. It deepens up the engine note, but the best thing is it removes that annoying stock "rattle" that I used to get when I had the stock intake box. I dunno if anyone else knows what I'm talking about...but anyhow, I've been through about 5 different intake setups.....the CAI is deffinately deeper, and deffinately makes for a quicker Accord since the power band is so low in the range......where we actually are making a little power ;o).
