Default Is it LX or EX?

i just got my 98 accord at a dealer auction. the badge is missing but you can see that the ex was taken off. The paper that was attached to the car window claims an EX but my uncle, who owns a dealership, says that it cannot be an ex because it doesnt have leather seats or radio control on the steering wheel. I assumed it was an EX because of the moon roof and the abs. can someone help.
thx.

I looked on edmunds, for the I4 accords, even EX trim the leather is optional, so are power seats, so it very well may be an EX, for the I4 the SE is the one with leather, wood trim all those goodies.

easy way to tell if it has ABS, a moonroof, and paint matched windshield squirters it's an EX(or maybe an SE)

SE's usually appear near the end of a generation to attract sales for an aged model.

Actually the SE doesn't come with leather. It's an option, just like for the EX and LX.

LX<SE<EX.

Either way, it's not an SE cause they didn't have em in 98.

The EXV6's got the radio controls, the EXI4's didn't.

Seems like color matched sideskirts and door trim would be more obvious than windshield squirters, but I guess that works too haha.
