Default Stock 2003 Accord CD player problem

I just got the 03 Accord LX with the stock CD player (not changer, and not navigation) and almost all of my CDs that were played p-e-r-f-e-c-t-l-y on the Pioneer DEHP7300 that I had in my previous car skip like crazy in this one. All of them are CD-Rs but I've never had this problem before.
There is a skip in at least one song out of 3, sometimes more often, and it doesn't seem to depend on jerking or hitting potholes.

I was wondering if anybody else had the same problem, or is it just my CD player (defective?).

Thank you.

I haven't had a problem with my CD player yet.

How long of a skip is it? Do your other CD's play fine?

I would just get it looked at the next time you bring your car in.

I haven't had any problems with mine yet either. I only have a couple of CD-Rs that I play and they don't skip. It seems to me, though, that I saw in the owner's manual (or maybe the service guy told me this - I don't really remember) that, although our stock CD player may play some CD-Rs just fine, it's not really CD-R capable. Mine has been fine so far, though.
