Default I've made up my mind

This is to everyone who I have previously talked to or involved myself in their threads. I have decided not to put any more money into my car, even though it looks like $hit at the moment. Here's why: I took my car to this shop to get "custom fiberglass door panels". To make a long story short, I found out the guy that works at the shop was driving my car (3,000 miles in 3 weeks) I got my car and told him not to do anymore work to my car. I told him I also wanted a refund. He broke several peices in my car and my tires are bald. Not to mention the work they did sucked and wasn't what I had asked for. So this past weekend I went to Imperial and they have a lot of beautiful brand new houses priced really well. You can get a brand new 7 bedroom beatiful house for about 196,00.00 which is great compared to where I live in San Diego where the brand new houses only 3 bedroom start at 350,000.00. So I have decided to stop messing with my car and put all that money into a savings account. So I probably won't come around anymore. But it was fun talking with all of you and I wish you all the best! So long!

I called him and told him i wanted to meet with him so we could talk about the next projects I want to do to my car. I told him to be there at 6. I waited there with my b/f and he said lets go because it was already 6:30. i said no because i wanted ti see if he showed up in my car (i had a suspicion that he was driving it) Sure enough he showed up in my car at 7 pm. I asked him how many miles he put on it and he said 300 Then when I turned on the car I looked and he put over 3,000. I parked on a hill that night and I turned the wheel in and that's when I saw the tires where bald. And it's a 2002 and it had new tires when I bought it this last feb '03. He must have been turning real fast and driving it to shit to make the tires bald. I was so pissed I wanted to cry. I found all sorts of things in the car from where he drove it to and where he went with it. So it was like all of these things accumulated and pissed me off. Another thing is that the doors don't work with my alarm because the piece that locks the doors and windows is missing...he fuc*ed me real bad

^ Everything happens for a reason I guess. Maybe this incident is supposed to show you that it isn't worth it to spend all your money on your car. Sounds like your on the right track now, I hope everthing works out for you with the house.

My thoughts exactly! My self "motto" is that everything happens for a reason. I am glad it worked out that way because it made me realize that I have a future to look forward to and I can't very well do it while driving a fixed up Honda. I need to focus on things that will benefit me. I realized I much rather save $1200 a month for a house rather than put it into my car. I think I just had an epiphany.

I was thinking about it but I don't really have proof. He is a rat so he will probably say that it was like that when I brought it to him.
Tyring to figure out if it is worth my time yet....
