sounds like a busted altenator. i was just driving as usual, then my guages die, radio goes out, and nothing electric works. i was suprised the motor was still going. it takes VERY little battery juice to keep the car going. i could drive like miles on a charged battery.

h: But if the alt went out, my car wouldn't die unless the battery was dead too right? In that case, everything electrical was fine, car cranked and cranked, just wouldn't turn over:dunno:

Damn Rich I got hella worried there for a min thinking that you car was gone but anyways what may have happened is that they shorted the wiring harness in the engine bay when putting the starter and shit back together. That happened to my dads hatch adn the car would still run on the battery for a while but the car would be trying to dry the entire time.
