Default i got hit.....

ya...so...i got rearended by this lady on a cell back in chitown...and her insurance is taking care of it...sending a check for around 500...i was thinking bout getting myself a new rear bumper...installing it myself...and, brace yourself, a 1 day or maybe even maaco paint job...now, before all the flaming and hating starts...my car's a 92...so, it's 11 yrs old...i'm planning at most on keeping it through the last 2 yrs of undergrad and if it lives through the few yrs of grad...but since its pretty old i don't think it'll even last 4 yrs...so it don't really matter if the job lasts 3 yrs...cuz the car mite not last that out...so...whaddya think...new rear bumper and 1 day or maaco paint job?...also...i seen aftermarket fronts on ebay and on the for sale forum...but is there a place i can pick up a nice rear?

If you just take the bumper in to get painted, it should be OK. Maaco is known for poor masking when painting parts that are on the car.....and overspray....h:

totally up to you. i mean, if you don't care bout the car, then why not? i'd go the cheap route too if my car might not last.
