5th gen stock tire size
I have a 5th gen, 96 lx 4cylinder to be exact. the stock tire size is 195/60/15. I got some stock steels off of a 1999 accord lx with 195/65/15's. Will it be okay for my 5th gen? i think the 65's are 24.98 in diameter...and the 60's were 24.21. is that difference big enough for me to notice, or am i jus worrying for no reason

I've had the stock 195/60/R15's on my 95 EX since I bought it 4 years ago. I recently had to make an emergency purchase of 4 new 195/65/R15's. The mechanic suggested them. There's really no significant difference besides the fact that it's such a tall tire, the ride reminds me of driving my father's truck. I think I'll go with 50's or 55's the next time around.

okay here's the deal. the two steelies with 195/65's are from the 1999 accord lx. The tires are bridgestone potenza re910's which is a pretty damn good tire. The tread is at 80%. I need to buy two more tires for my other steelies. Should i go with 195/60's, or get 65's to have all tires stay the same. Also, I am just going to get a grand touring tire, something cheap like the conti grand touring. I was thinking of putting the re910's in the front, since they are a more high performance tire. so wachu guys think....65 or 60.
