I got the mail today and Honda is recalling 03 accord about the air intake or something like that. Check your mail guys

 

Weird... nothing about it on NHTSA site and they're usually posted there before any notices go out. No recalls listed for 2003 Honda Accord... did have the following recall for the 2002...

Is it a recall of all '03's? Asking since I'm taking mine in tomorrow for a service and will be sure to ask 'em about it. Thanks for the heads up.

My friend with a 03 Accord told me it isn't a recall but a "update".

 

So... What's it about? I-4, V-6, both engines? I haven't gotten anything in the mail about it...

Wouldn't that be just for the japanese accord? Their accord is not the same car....

 

I think Japan's (& Korea's) Accord is the same car that is sold in USA as the Acura TSX...

CL7, CL8, & CL9 in the VIN should say it all. My '03 Accord is CM5.

 

I'm assuming it doesnt effect me with an aftermarket CAI?

 

i don't think this applies to USDM accords, only TSXs since the recall is on the japanese accord.
