03 accord recall
#11
I own a TSX and its has a lot of little problems here and there like A/C problems, rattling dashboard, moderate vibrating at idling, etc. I am not surprised about this recall on JDM Accords, which are essentially the Acura TSXs here.
Also, my tranny is beginning to shift hard everytime I shift. I have 11k miles on it now and it feels like the tranny might go soon. :wtc:

I got that same letter about a week ago. It doesn't mention RECALL, though that's what it seems to be. Most of the items listed there all involve rain or snow. Considering I live in a place where I see very little of either, I shouldn't be affected too badly, however I will still take it in to get fixed when I get a chance.
It's too bad Honda didn't do something about the steering vibration. I noticed a service bulltein in early 2003 where Honda wanted to inspect any cars where the owners reported steering wheel vibration - it didn't say whether it was a known problem and didn't list any solutions, it just said that American Honda wanted to inspect any cars that reported the vibration.

I also don't have any rattles whatsoever. Do you think that could be because my car is a DX so I don't have as much "stuff" to rattle around? (No overhead console/map lights, no power locks, etc.)?

Most Honda customers (and me) hold Honda to a higher standard.
