98-02 Accord Full-Length Factory Replacement Triple A-Pillar Gaugepod
ok, to give you the Cliff notes version:
the background:
there was a groupbuy started by some guy from av6.com for full *replacement* 3 gauge a-pillar pods...the guy sent in his stock a-pillar cover to www.gaugepods.com (Lo-Tek), who makes lots of gauge pods for domestic cars as well as some import cars. their quality is supposedly of fantastic quality (it comes pre-painted to match the stock interior colors). it took them about 1.5 years to make the perfect mold for 98-02 accord.
the problem:
the thing is that they will only start making the gauges pods when there's 20 orders. thus far (i talked to them today), we have 9-10 orders. that means we need 10 more ppl to join in on the groupbuy, then we can finally have the damn wretched thing shipped to us.
the solution:
goto http://www.gaugepods.com then click on Products -> Honda, you'll see order form for 98-02 Accord. there's even a groupbuy coupon to take $7.99 off the $44.99 list price. adding the color is $7.99, so basically you're getting it painted to match your interior color for free. they have 2 color choices, light gray and beige. so all in all, it's $45 dollars to have full length replacement a-pillar gauge pod (2 1/16") color matched for our accords! now, go to the website and put your orders in. also, if you decide to order or have any questions, please direct your assault to ashzero@hotmail.com or AIM at ashz3ro thanks!
