Default Installed my Injen Intake on my 2000AV6 Coupe..

I am shokced at how LOUD it makde it! I never seen an intake make a car sound like you installed a catback..My friend drove it passed me and it sounds so loud.. Im not sure if I like it that much.. i may just put the stock set up back...

is your car properly warmed up? when you cold start it and ride around for the first 5 min, it'll be loud ... after that, the sound will be alot more quiet.

it just sounds raspy- when you punch it.. a vibrating sound like.. i wish it sounded smoother..

I got rid of my AEM CAI for the same reason. Plus the loss in low end torque and the annoying whistle at certain rpms.

Do you think a normal intake (short) would produce more low-end gains? However, the noise would be too much for me too. Have you tried using the stock intake with the resonator removed?
