Thanks, yeah, the new seats are great. I'd love the leather door panels but doubt I'll find them at a price I'm willing to pay. We'll see.

If you ever find your leather door inserts replaced with cloth ones...you'll know it was me.

why didnt you wire the side airbags? Does it need "special" equipment besides just plain wires powering it? Do they need sensors of some sort?

Cuz if i were you..i wouldnt want two airbags just sititin there doin nothin for my safety!

I have charcoal interior on my black av6 2k coupe..and i'd LOVE to do that mod...but I would HAVE to exchange the door panels out too...i want the full kit and kaboodle! All that wouild make it an ex minus a moonroof(which i dont care for that much).

Thanks. I didn't hook up the side airbags because my car didn't come with them originally. The new passenger seat does house the side airbag sensor, but the SRS "brain" or control unit is different on Accords with and without side airbags. So I'd need the new SRS brain, it's just not worth it. The SRS is some real complicated stuff. There are more pages on the SRS electrical system in the service manual than pages on the entire rest of the car's electrical system. So it's pretty complicated, I'm okay without having them hooked up.

And I know what you mean about the door inserts, but leather seats, leather console, with cloth doors > cloth seats, cloth console, with cloth doors.

very true!

u have leather console as well? COOL! I wonder what the price of the whole "set" is from honda? Over 1k? Maybe more huh?

And about srs...its good then that i have side airbags installed...this way i can exchange them out with seats with them in and still be working.
