Q for the Sixth Gen V6 guys, or anyone with factory leather seats.
Hey fellas.
Are the EXV6 6th gens the only Accords that have the 4 way power leather seats with the similiar looking controls as the driver 8 way power seat?
Also did the EXV6 Accords start using side airbags in 2000 like the I4's or earlier? or later?
I just got some OEM leather seats, due to the power four way passenger seat I got, and the fact that it says nothing about that seat in my Helms, I'm thinking it's an AV6EX thing, cause they have some extra goodies.
Also, some opinions needed...since my car has no side airbags from the factory, and I'm planning on leaving them unplugged...should I just take them out before installing the seats?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Is your passenger seat power?
If so, what controls does it have?
Thanks

Well....john, u remember my ride, right? it had 8 way adjustable power seat on the driver's side only, and the av6 seats are exactly identical to my previous stock leather seats. Don't take out the side airbags, because they're inside the side of the seat and it'll make the seat look messy afterwards. I think u should leave the side airbag in and just have it unplugged, so it'll be nice and clean. I don't know if any 6th gen had power passenger seat of any kind tho....
