Default Greddy Header question for 95 Accord

Hello,

I'm new to this site but I really enjoy the information, but I havent seen onything about installing headers. So heres my question. I just got my Greddy headers in today and was wondering if anyone can tell me if its easy to install yourself. I mean it has instructions, but what tools do I need (I have absolutely nothing tool wise), and this would be the first time I did this type of install. Im a newb what can I say?
Thanks for your time and input,
Garrett

it is actually a pretty easy install, however you said you have nothing tool wise. well you will need a socket wrench with extensions to be able to reach some of the bolts, metric sockets, and a jack/jack stands. you could also use a torque wrench so that you can tighten the bolts to the proper specs. its been about year and a half since i did mine and im too lazy to go look at my car...........but there are a few bolts holding on the heat shield, remove those. then there are about 7 or so bolts holding on the upper part of the header, 3 more holding the upper piece to the collector piece on the bottom and then 3 more bolts on the collector piece connecting it to your oxygen sensor. the 3 bolts holding the two pieces together are a little tough to get to, and thats where you will need the extension for the socket wrench. its basically a matter of bolts, but you need the tools first. not very difficult. hope that helps. good luck
