get a truck if you want dubs cause the first pot hole you hit you gettin dented

besides that 20's are weak, you're a bitchass if you don't get 26's

yo straight up don't go bigger than 19 and even 19 is pushin it
think about it
you don't want to drop dough on rims and then have em all dented

yo jschmid 23's are like 1999 26's are the new shit

Why don't you tell us how you are going to magically fit 20's under your Accord. In the world of Honda's and tires someone long ago decided math is a good thing. Let's look at math.

Stock Accord 4 cylinder ex tires:
Are 195/65/15 = 7.67" wide (w) and 24.98" in rolling Diameter (RD).
Stock Accord 6 cylinder ex sedan:
Are 205/65/15 = 8.07" wide (w) and 25.49" (RD)

Woo-Hoo math is fun let's do some more.
An Accord running 18's (18x7.5") both 4 or 6cylinder typically runs:
225/40/18 (some use 215's) anyhow:
They are 8.85" wide and 3.98" side wall (SW) and 24.97" (RD)

Now a show goer might even dare to run 19's (19x7.5/8") -- he may choose to use rolling stock to fit the above (RD) range so his odometer and speedometer will still fucntion with-in tolerance.
Thus 225/35/19 = 8.85" W / 3.54" SW / 25.086" RD

Now in the world of math meets manufactoring we have run into an issue. In the above 18" and 19" wheel world, life was good. Tire companies made lots of 18/19" tuner tires in 225 and 215 widths and the needed aspect ratio to support the tuners RD and W needs. Now enter into the world of 20's

The 18 and 19 inch dub wheel off-set can range from +35 to +55mm (ugg more math) now typically most Accords run a +42 to +45mm offset. This allows the tire to be up to the wheel lip edge still tucked some what and not hit the wheel wells if proper tire size is used and camber is with-in spec. Now, an added benefit to offset is I can run wider tires then OE and not hit my control arms when I have suspension travel or full turn steering wheel to wheel lock.

So my point? You want to run 20's woo-hoo, bling-bling city. First you know you want to keep the rolling diameter with in the same ball park as other tuners. So lets go look for tires.
225/30/20 -- nope, not made yet.
235/30/20 -- no again.

Ok 255/30/20 -- shwoo, somebody made me tires, good.
225/30/20 = 10.0" wide tire, 3.01" sidewall, and 26.02" RD
Ok so you have surpassed the largest Accord OE rolling diameter by nearly a 1/2" overall. Trust me on the car this will look hugely different. The 20's profile and tire will look huge because your wheel diameter grew but the tire sidewall looks alot like my buddies running 19's. And the kicker....

This 255mm wide tire you chose will need likely something in the 9-inch wide department. Couple this with the industry normal +45mm offsets and you have issues. The rim will either A hit the control arms at full turn or B the skateboardlook will be in effect untill your stock suspension goes full travel with the wheels turned up front then you have skateboard dub look ala' cut tire crunched fender. So you decide to specify an offset of say +50mm to keep the tires tucked. Again the inside of the rim is now hitting things. So in order to do the above 20's we need to..

A -- Cut and modify the stock fender
B -- redesign some suspesion points.
Since lowering is out of the question for you, so too likely is option B.

Well, now you have chosen to cut and modify your fender because you will be running 20's, well heck why wuss out now. Since our car is getting new fenders made let's tire shop.

Woo-hoo we are in luck 305/30/23's yummy.
305/30/23 = 12.00" wide / 3.6" SW/ 30.0" RD

Wow, looks like we need to call our fender guy back up SUPER DTM+WRC flair those fenders. This is great! Now you can lower your car like a full 3" drop and you still can drive over curbs.

So, here you go--the answer to the 23" enigma. Buy the way did you check into the pricing for the dubbish tires?

I was joking about the 23's -- it was sarcasm.
 Great post

well ... 20's are for SUVs ... and this is the closest thing he can get to owning an MDX or Pilot.
