Default Opinion on Suspension setup...

I'm planning on purchasing some new shocks/struts and springs. Eventually I want to go with Tein or JIC coilovers, but I don't want to spend that kind of money yet. So for the time being I'm planning on getting Tokico Blue Kit (shocks, struts, and springs). I've thought of even the Illumina kit as well, but still uncertain. What are your opinions/thoughts on this setup? If you have a different setup you'd recommend, let me know. All I'm really lookin' for is a nice clean drop (not slammed) and better handling. Ride comfort is not really a concern. TIA!

My reccomendation is just save up for what you really want. Because if you drop $300 now (and I think that kit is actually about 350)...that's 1/3 the cost of the TEIN's right there.

*EDIT* There is a group buy right now for $820 shipped for TEINs. Can't beat that. Just save up a bit more.

Yeah, I saw that thread about groupbuy. I have an account there now, so I may just check that out. I was just thinking about that too, why not save up for what I want... and save money in the long run

:chuckles: It's just $40 more. Think about it...I got my Teins more than a year ago and about $100 more than what it is going right now

Hey wassup. so u wanted to know wat is the best suspension setup for ur accord, i would say if u want to spend big bucks but not to much like $1000 i guess thats not too much, but anyways ill go for tein SS(super street) setup which is $1000 or go w/ basic damper which will cost around 750 and the only difference is that no damping changes sh*t that is better going w/ separate thing like 4 example ground control and tokico shocks or something like that cuz rite now i got 02 accord and have SS damper and it ride and handles soo nice. well this the first setup i did on my suspension and didnt try anything else cuz i researched about it and alot of ppl be telling me is a good ass suspension one of the best setup. hope this helps
