first, this is for my 5th Gen

ok, i wanna have my corner lights come on as usuall on the first click, but on the second click, have only the headlamps on.

so:

1st Click : Corner Lamps On, Headlamps Off
2nd Click: Corner Lamps Off, Headlamps On

but i still need the corner lights to blink

huh? oh.... okay.... you're gonna have to run indepentent wiring to each switch... or click as you put it.... it's gonna have to run directly to the switch... so count on taking some things apart...

 

why would u want no corner lights at night? thats dumb.

 

try using some relays?

you'd have to make it so the parking lights would be off... that would be illegal, cause no tail lights either.

well i'm planning on using relays. just don't know how.

i don't want NO lights on, just the corner light when my headlights are on. so i DO want the tail lights to be still on.

it shouldn't be illegal, look at older cars. They'll still be on with the running light switch, but when i turn on my headlights, they'll go off.

they'll still still stay on with the parking lights and blink, but act like the bumper lights when i turn on my headlights.

(ooh that gives me an idea)

i need to figure out how to have them act regular on the first click, but when my headlamps come on, act like the bumper lights.

The reason i wanna do it is because of two: 1. i can't find any 194 bulbs to match my headlights (be it either regular old clear or hyperwhite bulbs) and 2. i like how the Civic Type-R looks at night (from Gran Tourismo 3)

 

Basicly i Wanna have my corners work as usuall on the first click

but on the second click i want a relay to switch the main lead wire from the usuall corner lead to the bumper lead

sounds simple, sep i don't know how exactly a relay works
