Default Insurance for 03 V6 Coupe Ex?

I just got quote 800 per 6 months for insurance and would like to know what others are getting.

Coverage is:

Bodily 50/100K
Uninsure 25/50K
Property 50K

500 deducatible

Im 26 and have been driving for 10 years with no tickets or ccidents last 3 years. Does the above numbers seem right or can I get a better deal.

it's going to be different for EVERYONE - it's all bzsed not only on driving racord, but location, if you garage the car, others on a policy, etc.

Best way to find out if that's a good deaql is call Geico, Progressive, Erie, State Farm, and keep getting quotes

It's not going to be a good measure by asking others - too many factors involved

I pay $800.yr w/max coverages from geico, including full glass and the tow service or whatever. Ive been driving for 7 years, 2 speeding tickets, 1 no-fault accident, 1 other persons fault accident. You can get better deal. I have Geico BTW...and live in NY

I just bought an 03 Accord V6 Coupe, and my insurance went DOWN $140 every 6 months. I even raised my limits of liability. This is with the same company. My previous car? 2002 Honda CIvic EX Coupe.

Explain the logic in that one!

I pay $450 every 6 months, I'm 26, no tickets or accidents. Farmers. But I also have multicar discount, and renters, life and other insurance from them, so I get a break for the multiple policies.

The explanation is most likely the safety features in your new car. Side and side curtain airbags. I dont know anything about the civics....or their ABS....no traction control.....they were probably more "stealable" than the new accords. People who drive accords tend not to go as crazy w/modding as Civics and Im willing to bet that the discrepancy between the accident rate for young and old Accord drivers is less than that for the Civics. In other words....young people w/Civics mod them, speed, crash em (not that this doesnt happen with other cars...just seems like Civics are more likely).

Hey how do you know that they are redoing everything over in Jersey? Do you know where I can I find some information about that? That would be sooooooo great.

They have been talking about it on the news and a few friends I have that work for the DMV gave me some insite. For instance. the inspection is different:
any car under 2001: 3 year inspection
any car after 2001: 4 year inspection
any car 2004 and after: 5 year inspection cause the new engines coming out should be more efficient and shouldn't break down till 5 years.
