naw i live in texas and it gets rather hot here, i was just wondering if surface heat would affect the CAI, im not really worried about water.
the roasd surface heat wont be as bad as sucking in engine bay heat.. cai is your best bet, bypass valve is helpful for the rainy season but it sucks in hot air from the engine bay

One of the laws of air volume is that the more direct the airflow is, the more molecules will fit in the area and the quicker they will flow. Hence one of the main reasons K&N filters are worth every penny is that they "straighten" the airflow out into a smooth, even, constant flow. When the molecules flow in random, inconsitant directions, they bounce off each other and keep from filling the volume to it's capacity. In other words, yes, the Tornado does exactly the opposite of what you want it to do. The first time I saw that infomercial I :lmfao: for about 10 minutes.

Tonado = Very bad, they destroy everything's in their path. Yet they produce very strong whirlwinds and gust. :chuckles:
