Hey, did anyone notice how the 4cyl version has same hp numbers as ours and somehow the V6 has only 220 horses ? That's weird isn't it

'03 US Accords have the exact same engines as the ones in South East Asia. h:

I4 V6
Horsepower kW (P.S.): 118 (160) @5500 162 (220) @5500
Torque N-m (kg-m): 218 (22.2) @4500 288 (29.3) @5000

NOTE(1):
22.2 kg-m = 161 lb-ft
29.3 kg-m = 212 lb-ft

NOTE(2):
Honda North America (NA) listed 240HP @6250 and the Asian listed 220HP @5500.

That makes sense because if you look at the dyno plot for Honda NA (available somewhere at a different forum ), it shows 180HP @5500 and 195HP @6250. :naughty:

Honda Asia is just listing a HP figure somehow lower than the peak HP. I still don't know why they pick that number.

Why would anyone need folding on press of a button? Even in China
The only great thing with electric mirrors I saw was on a Citroen XM when a passenger side mirror automatically tilted towards the road (down) when you put into reverse. That was great and allowed for more precise parking. I would take that anytime.

You should've got Acura TL-S then (at least my friends TL-S has an auto tilt-down mirrors in Reverse gear)

I am not sure if other Acura models have that.

Parking is at a premium in Japan. That's where the feature is on almost every day.

The Acura TL/CL has the automatic tilt down thing.
