Default Washed my engine

Finally washed my engine. The car is 20 months old now (18600 miles) and it was getting a little grimy in there. Some pics:

My next mod is the AEM CAI.

Ok. Explain in details the entire procedure that you follow to clean your engine bay. A lot of people are curious on this topic. Thanks.

so how did ur headlight squirters end up working? i think u should color match them... that would look smooth.

I second that, it'll look cleaner that way. Or get real trick and mount them on a thing that slides up when in use and then hides under a cover like the Audi, etc ones.

Just paint them to match.

To wash the engine I covered the air intake, alternator and other misc. electrical connections. I used a hose (very low pressure) and a sponge. I did not use any degreasers - just lots of elbow grease.
The headlight washers are OEM Honda Accord for a 2002 German spec coupe... that car is virtually identical to the US 6gen coupe. Pic below:

OEM locations I meant to say... the actual parts are not OEM.

These get the snow guck off in the winter... had a similar setup on my Passat. The squirters have a separate pump and work with a separate switch.
