HELP! 6th gen, sedan steering wheel vibration...
I got a 6th gen sedan, I4, auto, and a few weeks ago I got 17" rims/tires plus Eibach Pro Kit. My wheel vibrates at about 50 mph and continues till about 75mph and then kinda stops!!!! I've had an alignment done, and had the wheels balanced and rotated as well now. It still is doing it! what the heck can the problem be??!?? Could it be the tires themselves? I don't believe the rim is bent cause they'll tell you if it is before they balance them and also if it was bent, i'd be feeling the vibration at all speeds. so guys help me out, i can't seem to figure out what the hell is wrong! thanks!

In addition if your are running wheel like Racing harts and tape weights the balance won't be as true.
hammer on rim weights give a better balance--unfortunately I have RH5 18"s and sucky tires so mine has a slight vibration above 50 as well. Nothing I can do but hope for better tires one day

this vibration only happen in complete stop mode (not moving at all, start-up, idle, etc.) when i start to move the car again it will stop... it doesn't cause any vibration when i move. everything i have on my car is stock except for the exhaust and spark plugs...

Hey noliess,
Does your wheel vibrate when you're trying to stop? It could be your brake rotors.
Accord1278-Try having the wheels dynamic balanced instead of static. Static only has weights on one side of the wheel. Good luck guys.
