Default battery relocation

I'm going to move the battery to the trunk. Any idea of where the battery should be placed to be balanced. I was thinking to the right side forward of the jack compartment..

I had mine in the trunk (left-side) for a while. Keep in mind you will lose a lot of current through the wire running all the way up to the starter. This caused me to eventually put it back in the engine bay h:. It was like my battery was always dead.

Exactly, it really isn't good for your car.

I need weight in the rear, more room in the front. I plan on using 1/0 pheonix high current power wire and replacing all my grounds with 1/0 or 1 gauge wire.

I personally would center the weight, but thats just me. Strap it to the back of your back seat, centered.

Yea, I'll be using a battery box. Batteries emit hydrogen gas which is toxic. I'll upgrade to a red top at the time too.
