Default My A/C is not working

My A/C is not working for 2 weeks, and I finally bring my car to local car shop. They told me there is no leaks but either compressor or clutch cable is not working. The guy at the shop also told me something is not spinning so I don't have the cold air, I have no idea what is that? Anyway, do you guys have any suggestions? How do I know if my compressor still working? Thanks.

Why don't you just bring it to the dealer?

My local Honda dealer charge too much, they will charge over $200 for A/C service. That's too much.

if the cluth isn't engaged when you have the a/c on then remove the low side valve cap and push in the valve. its simmilar to a tire valve, if no freon comes out you are low on charge if it comes out then you may have an electrical problem.
