Well, I looked into a bit, and it seems only logical that the SCCA (Sports Car Club of AMERICA) doesn't host events north of the border -

Heel/toe is something that you don't really need for autocross, b/c the courses are designed to restrict your speed to under 60 mph or so. Once you shift into 2nd, you plant your left foot on the dead pedal and just drive with your two hands on the steering wheel and your right foot dancing over the gas and brake. If your car is set up neutral enough (which yours should be) you don't need to left foot brake either.

Heel/toe ability is more a requisite for track driving, where you will conceivably be braking hard from well over 70 mph for a turn that requires 2nd gear upon exit time and time again.

Not being able to heel/toe in situations like that will lock up your front tires, possibly causing flat spots on your tires and excessive wear on your tranny, and worst case scenario, it'll cause you to lose control of your car from excessive and jerky weight transfer off the rear tires as you stuff the car into 2nd gear without matching rpms.

The wagon I'm picking up is a 4th gen, a '92 LX 5-speed. I hope it's OK; I've never seen it (other than a bunch of digital pictures), driven it, or heard it run. I think the 5th gen wagon is a bit prettier/more aggressive looking, esp. the front end, but I've decided the 4th gen can look pretty sleek too, as long as it's dropped a bit, has no roof rack, and has at least 16" wheels on it.

I was initially planning to do a H22 swap as soon as I can afford it, but now I'm thinking that if the F22 is in decent shape (it's got 103K miles on it) I may just turbo that instead.

I've already purchased some of my suspension upgrades (H&R Race springs, KYB AGX's), and I'll be getting either a Progress or ST rear sway bar and some sort of lightweight 16" wheel (prob. Rota Slipstreams or Kosei K1's) with 215/45-16 Falken Azenis Sport tires soon after.

I plan to have a ball with it in the STS class of SCCA autocross, which is pretty much designed to accomodate the new generation of sports car enthusiasts, ie the import "ricer" crowd.

I've been running the wife's Integra GSR sedan with moderate success in STS for a couple of seasons, but she pretty firmly stated last fall that she'd rather me play with my own cars than potentially damage hers (last summer I managed to get off course in two instances; once autocrossing, and once at a track event. It was a bad season . . .)
