Are you changing the transmission as well? Converting to manual from auto or vice versa?
I'd love to answer your question but you have to specify more detail.
You do need to change the ECU and add a few wires for sensors on the engine. You may also have to modify the trigger pick-up on the H22A depending what year H22 you got.

If you go with a 95 or lower h22, the obd1, you shouldn't have to change the ecu, but if you get a newer one then you'll have to change over to obd2. Try this link for some info. http://members.aol.com/accorddrv/h22.html

has one of the best info sites for the Accord H22 swap for most common generations and goes step by step with it as well as a list of parts needed.

On no Accord can you use the same ECU that runs your stock engine on a H22. H22 is a DOHC Vtec engine and stock Accord engines are SOHC non-Vtec and some Vtec (F22B1). Those ecu's are not equiped with a knock board or the correct fuel and ignition maps for the H22.
If you get a 1992-1995 Prelude engine it will be easier to swap in because you will only need to add wires for the Vtec solonoid, Vtec oil pressure sensor, and knock sensor.
If you get a 1996-newer H22 (OBD-2) engine you can still run it with an OBD-1 ECU however you will have to make some modifications on the distributor. Newer H22's have the ignition trigger on the flywheel rather then in the distributor like the 92-95.
I hope I didn't leave anything out but that's all that comes to mind.
Sleeper00,
If the Shift linkage on your old engine/tranny are good just reuse them. Make sure the engine you get has all it's sensors intact.
Good Luck, By the way where in FL are you?

i think i m getting the 92-95 H22 motor, and i m in Stuart of FL, what about the motor mount? can i still use the stock accord motor mount? do i have to get a different set of axles? u said i have add wires for the vtec, u mean just add more wires with the stock ecu wiring or i have to change the whole set of the euc wiring harness and add more wires?

The engine will bolt in just fine you can use the Accord factory engine mounts.
About the axles, You can use your Accord's axles also. If you buy a complete swap it will most likely come with the Prelude axles even though you won't need them.
You will only have to add wires to your vehicles existing wiring there is no need to replace all the wiring. Just add the 4 or 5 wires into the existing harness.
Where is Stuart? Is it very far from Miami? If the drive is reasonable for you I could do your swap for you. I'm very reasonably priced and you'll know it's done right. Let me know either way I'll help you out with the advice.
