Default Bumper Help 6Gen 4door???

Hi Guys I not to long ago was hit my some old lady on my front bumper. Well it's time for me to get a new one, I have a 2001 4dr accord and wanted to know if the 1998-2000 front and back bumpers fit perfect on my 2001. The reason I want to convert is because I wanted to get the Wings West Kit since they don't make kits like that for the 01-02 accords. I know some people have done it on the board but was there any mods needed to install the bumpers. Please help me out

the only way to know for sure is to try it (or ask someone who has, but that doesnt seem to be the case here). try to find someone u kno and try swapping bumpers

I think you can w/o major mod.
I think I saw that someone did on accordcompany.com for that same reason
or to put on a Mugen lip.

Yeah, you can do it. Lots of guys have done it.

The only problem I've heard about is that you can't use the stryofoam peice behind the bumper.

And good choice on the Wings West kit.

Thanks, I thinks its the best looking kit for the 6gen, I wish they made it for the 01-02 accords, It would save me money and time, but I guess I have no choice bro. Do you know for sure that all the bolts line up to the car, I want to make sure before I go out and spend money on any mod, I've seen people just do mods with out thinking and then end up wasting money.

Thanks for you help you car is looking sweet man.

Well, I should say that I know three guys that did it with the coupe, but the only problem I know of is the styrofoam thing, so I guess I can't say 100% for sure on the sedan. Thanks for the compliment.

Later.

I remember reading a post that the WW kit for the 01-02 was coming out this summer. I have no idea if it's true, and cannot remember which board I read it on.

Why don't you try contacting Wings West? Maybe they might come out with the 01-02 lip? You'll never know until you ask...
