Default CAI worth the money?

Ok first off, I have an automatic, if that matters at all. I've heard the most CAI systems don't do too much, but what about an AEM CAI Intake system? Everyone says it is the best on the market. Would this $200 CAI System be worth the money? What could I expect it to do to my car?

yeah i guess you're right. i'll wait on the performance mods later. right now i've just got clear corners, and clear bumper and rear side lenses coming. then i have to get it tinted, and i'm trying to find a (factory style) spoiler for it. then i want indiglo gauges and maybe a dash trim kit (doubtful on that). i'm putting my new system in about a week, and then i'm going to get a fiberglass amprack/sub box built in late july or early august. THEN i have to think about new wheels and rims. I'd probably get 17's. Oh yeah, I am going to try and get those S-type tail lights.

*phew*

Then when you have an extra 50 dollars laying around get a K&N filter to replace the honda paper filter with

If you are looking for a genuine stock spoiler go to ebay and do a search. There is one honda dealership from viriginia selling a lot of OEM spoiler for real cheap. I got a fully painted OEM spoiler from them for $150. The dealership near me wanted like $350.

well damn, I already have the clear rear sides on the way. Even with my car being a goldish color the clears won't look good with the S-Types?

well I guess it would be more of a hassle to return the $17 lenses cause of shipping and whatnot. So I guess I'll just keep them and try them both out like you said.

Just an Idea but you can paint the clears the color of your car for a shaved look, but you'll prolly have to paint the rubber seal around them too, and eventualy the seal's paint will crack

Well I'll take some pics with the side lenses stock and then some with the clears and we can all see which is better

I think I'm going to do that Poorman's CAI. Doesn't sound like it would be too hard to do. My pops just bought me a new air filter, but it wasn't K/N

So I guess I'll have to wait about 25,000 miles for one of them.

The filter is already in my car, and has been for a couple of days. it was a $25 filter, I dunno what brand. Will they take it back if it's been in the car for a few days?!
