Default prelude seats in a 4th gen

just curious do they sit lower than the stock accords? are there any other straight bolt in seat swaps that do actually sit lower than stock? thanks.

Preludes do sit lower than the Accord seats.

However...they are not always a direct bolt in, depends on the year you get.

I have a set in my 5th gen and had to take the Accord rails and adapt them to the Prelude seats...not hard but it takes a little work to line it up correctly.

I have to realign my passenger seat

what else do you need to know? I think nightshade explained it well. it will not bolt in, and yes you sit lower.

well the years that work and are the least amount of work (ie; swapping rails only) would be nice.

Well mine are out of a 98 (seems all my Lude parts are 98...odd) and all I had to do was swap rails but I wasn't careful when I did the passenger side seat and I have to redrill and remount the seat again.

Its not bad but it sits a little crooked right now, besides that its not difficult at all.

If you do this here is my suggestion.

Take your Accord rails off (one side at a time just in case )and mount just the rails to the floor as if the seat were on it.

Talke the rails off the Lude seats so that the brackets are still on and place it on top of the rails and mark the holes to drill. Remove the seats and rails and drill according to the marks.

Remember: "Measure twice drill once, measure once drill twice"
