I have had 0 problems with my car...granted, Ive had it only since March 13. But I have put on 1500miles in the past 2 weeks. As far as starting the car, I haven't had a problem with it starting on the first try, and I live in Rochester, NY . . . where the average temp last month was 21degrees F. Sometimes it might take 1 or 2 seconds, but nothing major like you were saying. The only "problem" I have had has only cropped up twice, both when the interior of the car was fairly cold. The front dash would creak on bumps, but would get better and go away as interior warmed. It was 20degrees F outside when it was doing it yesterday. I dont know if Im lucky or you guys aren't, either way that crap shouldnt be happening on a new car and I wish you the best of luck. Keep us posted.

30 miles later... the car starting chocking/stalling.
when trying to accelerate it would rock and not go any faster.
at times it wouldn't want to even maintain speed.
I had to pull over 7 times , turn the car off and then on.. and continue. finally made it to the dealer and was given a loaner!
(they hooked it up to a comp to check for error codes but saw none... but then took it for a spin and saw the problem... they were closing and will check it out monday)

anyone else have this problem or may know the cuase or possible cuases?

thanks please let me know
Thats Fkn BS man, have em give you a new one!

damn, that's why you never buy the first year of a redesign. still though that's messed up for honda.

I agree with that, but i think back in 94 (my year accord) they did a damn good job the redesign because i havn't had any major problems yet (ive only had the car from 85k miles to now, 92k miles though).

when you think about though was it really that much different than a 93? just a body change and interior change plus a new motor based on an already proven power plant.

prolly loose spark plugs I had the exact problem as u, tell them to check whether the spark plugs is loose or somewrong with it. The thing might be mis-firing and causing all the rock and shake and etc...........it happened to my 03 coupe. If u smell someting burning then it's prolly 90% because of the spark plugs not giving enough fire to the engine.

The engine hasn't really change this year. I was under the impression they kept it same as last years model, but increased the hp with a better air intake, or something to that effect.
