hey, you will have a similar setup to mine... it does make a difference, im not at 12:1 though, im probably a little over 11.5:1 I have Type S pistons and stock rods. My boost came from a spoon head gasket and milling my head ever so slightly to compliment the p&p.

I havent ran it at the track yet, I did race a buddy that has a eg civic coupe w/ a fully all motor built b16b and gutted, he ran a 13.6 and beat me by 1.5-2 car lengths. This is while my engine was throwing 2 CELs and only dynoing 192 horses. so we will see very soon how I do.

My compression will actualy be slightly less than 12:1 I am trying to keep it so it will still pass DEQ and on the road. If not I guess I will have to find someone out of town that will let me register it at their place.

They aren't quite as tough as Cali about it but its getting close.

is it just emmissions? if so, just lean the hell out of your motor the day of the check... thats what im gonna do...

Well after the work I will just buy a stock ECU to run when emissions comes up and according to the guy doing the work it should pass with no issues.....he also reccomended running some Av Gas during emissions for me too

Sorry up here everyone calls it Av gas as in aviation fuel....most call it race fuel though.

oh, okay I got ya, Yea, your gonna have too, I run 94 octane (premium here) and every now and then I get 115 octane, there is actually a gas station by my house that sells it as pump gas (as turbo/race fuel)
