Maybe the front end was lifting off the ground.

I had a 1990 Beretta GT. It really did feel better at 100 than 65. But you better go in a straight line. That car did not like to take curves any faster than 70. Excessive roll and that steering was artificially heavy.

Yeah!!! I actually found that better tires helped a lot, but the car just felt sluggish no matter what.

And that was with the upgraded suspension!!!!

Heh, heh. I sold it for 2500 when I bought my Prelude.... it had 96,000 miles and the paint peeled, the door trim rattled, the dash was pulling back by the defrost vent, and the car had a terrible cooling system issue..... when you put the defroster on it blew out a little green steam. Poor sap who bought it thought it was a cream puff.

2500.00!!!! nice!!!

I got 300.00 for mine after I came out one Super Bowl sunday night and it would crank but wouldnt start. Got a ride home and went back the next day (oddly enough, with my trusty Accord ) and got it running.............that was the last time I ever saw it start. Was able to get it home but from then on it just cranked and didnt fire.

Turns out the ECU was bad............but I didnt feel like putting the $$$ into it, so my parents neighbor did. Car still running to this day.
