I had a really hard time to get my volvo to 140 when I was in college...it took forever and the car is not willing to pull anymore after 80...I think even my friends C5 doesn't pull after 110~120, 0 to 80 was a thrill though... and you guys manage 130...must have taken a while...

Yes- -it's my new tiny digi-cam. It's a Sony DSC-U20 - SOOOO small. 2.0 MP cam. just one handed the wheel - watched the road - it's an automatic. And took pix as fast as I could.

hehehehe. your Sony U20 is called "the voyeur cam" by my buddies. that thing is sooooo damn small. i just got a new sony camera and i tend to carry my new belongings around. this morning some guy hit me and i took pics of the accident right away. hehehehee. cameras are awesome.
now i have to deal with fixing the rear quarter panel. good thing no serious damage, but it totals out to 1450 for the quote. i woulda kicked his ass if he hit the cf hood that i just spent hours on the other day drilling and installing though. damn parking lot accidents. got t-bone-style backed into by a doctor driving a benz. hahaa. just my luck.
in the words of my dad "this shit only happens to you"

and i've gone over 150, but in what car?
btw, there aren't too many tracks, and especially none that you can get up to speed on. yes, the streets aren't somewhere that we should race on, but its at our own discretion. take a close look at my picture and tell me besides myself and my passenger(s), who the hell am i going to hit or who will be hurt? the guy ahead of me by 1/2 mile? the guy behind me by 4 miles?

I thought the 6th gens were speed limited to 137?
And granted, the Accord speedos have admittedly been off by as much as 10%.............you can be goin 150 on the speedo but still possibly be doing 135...........I wouldnt say you can do 140+ because the speedo says so.
My 89 Beretta GT was truly not limited: no engine cutout, fuel cutout, or speed limiter. Hit at least 130 in it (speedo ended at 120..........I was at the "l" in "Only" where it says "Unleaded fuel only" underneath the speedo). Oddly enough, the car felt more stable over 100 than it did at 65
Maybe the front end was lifting off the ground.
