Default Denso Iridiums installed

I put my Denso Iridium plugs in today... replacing my relatively new Bosch Platinum 4's. No real noticable increace in power... maybe a little more low-end grunt, but nothin significant. It seems to idle a little smoother... maybe I can get a couple more MPG out of them.

Anyone else have these? how do you like them?

Unless i upgrade my COIL,I am not going to waste $30+ on plugs. Most 6gen come stock with Plat. plugs which last up to 100K same thing with Spake plug wires they can even make you lose power I am not saying your wires will last 100k only the Plugs.

well bosch are known to suck in hondas so it doesn't surprise me. remember the manual does reccomend ngk or denso plugs. also +4 are platinums which suck and the +4 is bs, since electricity follows the path of less resistance. which means it's probably only flowing through one of those prongs.

i suggest trying the stock ngk coppers.

yup. it comes with ngk platinums...but i think you're supposed to change them at 60k no matter how long it lasts, but i may have to check the manual again.

whaa? who the hell puts copper plugs stock? i think that ferrari modenas even drive over 2000 miles without changing the spark plugs.

in a 94 accord stock plugs were copper. platinums are used today simply so honda can say 105 or 110k before you change your spark plugs.

do a search and learn something, platinums are not for performance, but longevity. real racers stick with ngk coppers and change them every 10-15k miles.
