Default ecu swap

I've heard that I can get more power out of my 1991 accord LX if I swap my ecu/ecm with one from an EX. Has anyone heard of and or done this? If this works, how much can I buy an EX ecu/ecm for at a junk yard?

You need to also swap for the 92/93 EX's dual stage intake manifold to take advantage of the adjusted fuel and ignition tables.

It will make more power with the ECU and dual stage intake from a 92/93 EX.

The 1990-1993 Accord ECU's a garbage to chip because of there design. All 1990-1991 (DX,LX,EX,etc.) ECU's are basicly programmed the same the difference is in the 92/93 EX ECU.

It's not just the ECU's program that makes the difference it the engines mods also.

I would look into a different ECU for the Accord if you where getting serious into mods. But if you don't need to mess with engine management yet, don't.
