Default Oil On Spark Plugs HELP!!!

sup everyone!!! i did a search and didnt get much info. i did get some but not enough.
car is a 91 accord lx, f22a1 auto.
i changed my spark plugs and found oil on the edges of the spark plugs. yes all 4 of them were coverd with a small amout of oil. oh and i need to mention that my idiot brother added 2 extra qtrs of oil in my engine, so do u think that couldve done it. the spark plug change happened 2-3 months after that tho. next morning i decided to check the new plugs and also found a film of oil coating around them. so yeah....iono what to do with that.

my engine also likes to burn OIL!!! on my 2,000+ mile drive from wisconsin to myrtle beach, SC i had to add 1 qtr for 1k mile and another 1 qtr of oil for the other 1k goin back up. i've also noticed that my exhaust has a dark smoke to it when i floor the car and the engine is spinning 4k rpms or more. at stand still, when i floor her, there is little or no smoke.

timing belt, seals, water pump replaced at 90k
valve adjustment at 75k
oil changes every 3,500-4k with mobil 5w-30
ATF changed at 100k
Radiator fluid changed at 100k
new distributor 120k
no oil leaks.
engine mods are: Intake and ex header.
135k on the engine now.

thanks guys!!!

Two things pop-up in my mind...

1. check for O-ring for oil leak.
2. if engine burns oil.. need new valve guide thingy.. (forgot the part name..)

DOnt Worry an its all good. The spark plug thing can be easily fixed. Go to the Nearest Auto Store and get 4 spark plug gromments, and a new valve cover gasket. Its about 2 bucks I did that when I painted my valve cover. You just remove the valve cover and put the new spark cover gromments on and that should be just fine. As for you burning oil if this didnt fix the problem then take it to a shop.

hmm, i thinki got some on my spark plug as well. you'll need to replace the spark plug lower tube seals. it requires removing the rocker arm assembly off and doing a valve adjustment. i did mine the other day and it probably took around half a day.

id highly suggest getting this one kit off ebay, it is a felpro valve cover gasket kit and the valve cover gasket is made out of silicon...yay.

Change the oil and filter and put in 4 quarts only. Let it run a day then check the oil level after sitting overnight.

Replace the spark plugs. Run them for 1,000 miles and re-check. If they are ok, put'em back in. If you still got oil, you got internal problems.
