Get a CAI and exhaust if you don't mind the noise. You could go ahead and get some rims, but I would wait on the lowering a few more months. I don't think it voids your warranty but you could always just ask Honda. GRRR HONDA DIE! sorry I had to vent again after my experiences.

Just add an aero kit and some huge rims and you'll be fine. h:
NOT TRUE, then why does Honda/Acura team-up with Comptech to make peformance parts such as Comptech lowering-springs. Honda/Acura makes performance parts for their cars also through Comptech and other companies.

Heck, my local Honda dealer evens sells Aftermaket peformance wheels, exhaust, intakes, etc., besides Comptech products.

Because it's all about money for the dealers. They cover their asses from warranty issues by using your mods as an excuse for the causes. I heard Ford is not covering any aftermarket parts that they donot sell. I guess Honda is doing the same. I heard on the News that Ford stated that certain types of mods may not be the correct application for the car and many owners damage their cars for that reason. For example, getting wheels that have the incorrect offset for your car would throw off the balance, they believe that it would damage your car. That would void their warranty.

Honda sells everything from aftermarket exhausts to springs in the parts department. Now I wouldn't think they'd be selling those things if they weren't meant to be on the cars they were made for.

I think they have to install it, which makes your warranty still valid. That way they cover their asses as well...BASTARDS...so installing springs which cost 2-300, prob cost you a 5-600...at honda

hey guys,

You do not want to with anything over 17 inches, god forbid if you put on 18's and you car is still under factory or extended war, that will void the war. larger rims will slow down the odometer. And as for the after market parts that honda dose sell in their parts dept, you will have to get from them, and let them put it on, because if you dont that will also void the war. How do i know, i'm a claims adjuster for an extended war service ,and most all of the contracts, extended or factory, are the same.

not correct. i have 18's and i just had a smaller ratio tire 215/35/18 to be exact and it made my speedometer and odometer show more miles and that i was goin faster. you just need to make sure the overall diameter of the tire is the same as stock and your fine .
i went to the dealer to do my 30k checkup and when i came back i talked w/ the sales manager and he told me that the owner of the honda dealership loved my car. then 15k miles later i had 2 bring it in to get a new tranny under warrenty they didnt care.

My fault, i was not clear on what i said.

It depends on what you are getting done to you car. Now in your case, no the dealer will not care, because if what you say is true, you are going out your war alot faster, so no they will not care. The service and the tech's on parts and labr. Factory war time is less than actual book time. So a simple service which is not coverd under any war , no dealer will care about. But if you had a trans problem , intake manifold , exhaust , or any big repair to your car, and our odometer still shows that you are under factory war milage, TRUST ME , THOSE 18'S WILL VOID YOUR WAR.
