Default disabling the secondary O2 sensor

I have heard that the catalyst efficiency sensor can be disabled by a simple wiring trick so that the MIL code won't be tripped.

I have installed and aftermarket catalytic converter on my 99 Accord 2.3 and my check engine light has been on since.

Does anybody have any insite on this?

Thanks,
-Ryan

Yes, cover the tip of the sensor with "liquid metal". Disconnect battery , reset check engine light. All set.
