turbo or h22

Not trying to be difficult but just saying the stability in an NA motor vs a boosted motor is enormously different and if you read his original post you will see why I recommend the swap over the turbo........he is lacking knowledge of how it all works in general and may cause more harm than good.
BTW you don't mention in your post but I assume you also had your internals gone through before the boost was hooked up....right?

Why 248?? Well it is the number we came up with while figuring it all out and it is just a base number that we have to work with right now....the actual number will not be determined until it comes out of the shop and gets on the dyno following break in.

Not calling you a liar but damn thats brave.
Have you had the engine apart to check for wear as of yet? Just curious because thats a lot of push for a stock engine setup.
Reson I say this is a friend of mine was pushing 12lbs on an H22 with 20k miles on it and shot rods while cruising at 115 for about 20 minutes. Of course thats excessive speed at constant boost but still not a good idea on stock internals at all.

and about your friend. youre talking about a motor that has higher compression and shorter gears running at 115mph for 20 minutes. he was in VTEC the whole time while boosting. he was probably around 5500 RPMs. he was just an idiot. i had a friend running 8lbs on an H22 and he blew it. its all in the tuning and how well you take care of it. i dont go out and race every person i see. i race V8's and other turboed 4bangers or other cars i feel are pretty quick. the Civic with the B16 swap i dont even bother with. i beat my friend with a B18C swap in a Hatch with 4 people in my car. i'm not some riceboy that thinks he needs to show off so he flies through the roads in 2nd gear. take care of your car and you'll be fine no matter what it is

Damn... I've been away too long.
I can say that my engine set up (at the time of my last dyno) was very restricted, at least as far as the exaust is concerned. I have since made some changes and that has opened up a whole new can of worms... I fully expect to see aprox 250 WHP with my new changes. I have gone through some tranny issues in the last few months, but now I think the bugs are worked out. Hopefully I will get to a dyno in the next few weeks. I will post up the new dyno plots as soon as I get them.
On a different note, I would very much like to see proof of the 260+ HP claimed from that h22a mentioned earlier.
i would love to see the dyno sheet for that. 2point6 has every imaginable thing you can do to run an H22 NA and he makes 225hp. i guess he doesnt have ITB's. thats about all. bored, stroked, raised compression, standalone, yadda yadda yadda. so show me a dyno sheet and i'll believe it. until then its bullshit
