heres some pics of my new car, 98 accord v6 coupe. just got done detailin her yesterday. my immediate plans are black housing headlights, Those headlights on there now are just too mom-ish for me, i dunno, i loved the black housings on my 5th gen and im thinking it'll look just as good on this one. Also tint, and a type-r style grill, ive already taken out the resonator and a few other little things. I'm thinking about putting some TL type-S rims on it after i end up dropping it on some eibachs and koni yellows, but those plans could change, for kits I'm trying to decide on wether to go OEM or W-type or to see what else is out there. whatcha think

OEM body kit bro...I assume you've seen pics of mine. Wings West is nice but I love the subtlety of the OEM kit.

I think black housings and a type-r style grille would give great contrast to the white :thumbup:

BTW, next time you detail: slap some armor-all or sonofagun or similiar shiney thing on the taillights...makes them look so much better, especially in the sun

 

Put stock red rear reflector back in. Looks alot better. Why not paint your headlights white to match your coupe?

I wasn't gonna say it, but I do agree with him. The contrast between the red of the sidemarker and the white of goes nicely along with the contrast of the taillights and the black housing headlights he's gonna put in.

 

lol, thanks aux for your comments, and everyone else... yeah thats the old accord in the background, i took off most of the broken stuff so it'd look less depressing but it still aint quite cuttin it. That white housing headlight idea is pretty cool but i dunno, I've always had a thing for black housings, I'm thinkin the contrast would look pretty good. after the headlights im gonna save up to lower it, so i get that outta the way. I've been thowin around the idea of converting the center console lights to amber. it's a bitch starting all over again though but it'll get there soon enough... about the rear clears, I threw those on just cause i was curious if they would fit or not since those are the ones that were on my old 5th gen.

 

so what happened? did they cut you a check for the old car or did you just bite the bullet and buy a new car? And if they cut you a check, how is it that you still have the car?
