no joke... its a 92 EX.. 2-door with the 5-speed... that would be amazing...
but this is what i was thinking.. it would almost be cheaper to get some aftermarket headers.. and a flex pipe wouldent it? assuming i dont need anyother parts if i do that?

Ummm flex pipe is a temporary solution it really doesn't hold up real well in the long run.

Just go down and have them weld in a new pipe where your A pipe would go.

BTW what the hell is the Apipe? I have never heard this term before in reference to exhaust

the A pipe goes from the bottom of the headers, on the EX it takes the 2 pipes, puts them into 1, has the flex pipe and then it goes to the cat.. but wait.. if i got say after market headers i wouldent want a flex pipe????
also.. would i be looking at any HP gains with aDC 4-2-1 header?

Your car has a flexpipe. It's that short section of woven metal pipe just before the cat and after the exhaust manifold sections. (the part I accidently drip a little oil on when I change my oil. ) Basically allows some flex in the exhaust system when the motor flexes on its mounts.
