Is it possible to paint over a CF hood? Cuz I really don't like the contrast in colors of the CF over the body. Just wondering....

Yes, you can paint CF Hoods.....I think they look best with a light paint sprayed over them....its when from far away it looks like the color of the car....but up close you can tell its a CF Hood and can still see the fibers

Another thing I have seen instead of hood pins is there are things out like hood locks or body locks....I forget who makes them but they sit flat and flush with the hood and you can paint them black so they aren't noticeable as much.....I was thinking of doing all this on my burgandy 4thgen but $$$ ya know....good luck

That is what I was going to use. I know that Sumit sels them but I dont knwo who makes them.

Or I was thinking about getting a set of reg hood pins for looks and the help hold down the corners and putting ONE of the locking type like your talking about in the center so that someone cant just open my hood.

Just some ideas I have.

Also do you have a link to the Gorupbuy.com? I put in www.groupbuy.com and nothing came up.

Thanks

I think companies like fiberimages and VIS don't have nozzle holes in them....I could be wrong....it does look cleaner without.

If you have the OEM style hood latch on the hood...you would only need two of those body locks on the corners and you should be fine.

Lastly the link to group buys is: http://www.groupbuycenter.com

Fiberimages definitley doesn't have the nozzle holes and I have seen the VIS hoods and all of those were without nozzle holes. I think FI offers them but not very often have I seen them precut...most the ones I see people drill the nozzle slots themselves.
