if you have an h22, your at 4k at 80mph. that gets annoying, which why i'm going with the ws.

 

i'd go w/ the evo...it is a nice deep sound and as long as you aren't gunning it on the highway, it doesn't drone too bad.

 

:ugh: Then there's the horrible downside to an H22 swap...

I cruise the hwy at 4k rpm's too... but my exhaust isnt really loud... it quiets out at that point because the air is moving so quickly through my muffler. BTW at 4k rpm I am going 100 MPH... I set my cruise to that haha. So I drive fast... :fawk:

 

I like the WS better since I don't like loud exhausts. There is no point in getting negative attention from cops or other people thinking I am a racer since I have a loud exhaust. Plus, I am into that sleeper muffler look and low sound. I know the Evo yeilds more gain than the WS. I have the Apexi RS (WS replaced the RS...its the came exhaust and muffler but a slightly different tip) and I love it. Just because the RS has a mild look, people think I am a semi-modded slow Accord. Too bad they don't see my bottle in the trunk.

I like the evo sound alot (my friend has one in his prelude) but it really depends on what the person is trying to do.

actually a lude owner on po.com dyno is lude against his friends lude, both with similar mods, but he had a ws and his buddy had the evo. The ws equipped lude dynoed with more power. Of course he just could have had a stronger motor. Another person dynoed his ws and still did very well. The ws like apexi claims gives you good midrange power, while the evo has poor midrange with better top end power. Exhausts don't give much power anyways on our cars, so don't worry about losing power be happy you have a nice quiet exhuast.
