I had never done anything like a spring install and put in some pro kits. I did a pretty detailed write up and put it in the how to section so you might want to check it out. As far as spring compressors, go to autozone and they will give you one for a $40 deposit that you get back when you return the compressor. I wouldnt really think you need one unless the teins dont come with the top mounts but being a true coilover setup i would think they did but i could be wrong

 

NOPE, THEY DON'T GOT THE UPPER MOUNTS

 

No they don't come with upper mounts, but you can purchase upper mounts from Tein for them. My Apex WS Coilovers didn't have the top mount either. So the stock accord one was used.

 

btw the tein aluminum mounts are stiff/noisy as hell...stay stock. they are really a pure performance item.

I have a friend who can get Teins for $860 shipped. There is a rumor Tein is making the pillow mounts. The ride is nice and the adjustment is coo...I dunno if the EDFC will fit ur guys car but it fits the TL and not the CL. Email me if you want info on the purchasing Teins...rbui@sjsu.edu

 

if you plan on reading the instructions for the install, you better hope that they aren't in Japanese like the ones are for the Apex-i WS coilovers. the only English in the whole thing was "Apex-i World Sport Dampers". just something to consider.

 

LOL hahahaa, that's funny, but anyways i was wondering if i should take it to a pep boy or a performance shop to get it installed, since performance shops know what teins are. i asked the dude at meineke and he thought i was saying tires, when i said loud and clear teins, what an idiot. i ask them if they install coilovers, he says what's that? idiot i tell ya.
