Default Stereo Stolen! Please help! Need some parts...

I am newbie to this forum and here are my questions.
My girlfriends Stereo was recently stolen from her 95 honda accord sedan. It was a very cheap Pioneer Cd player indash. Some people are just really dumb. All for a 130 dollar stereo. Since she never took her Factory out of the trunk, that was stolen as well.

She doesn't want to go trough this trouble again so I will be putting a factory one back in. My questions are the following:

1- Does anyone have a 95 factory Accord cassette stereo for sale. I have seen them on Ebay for about $20

2-I also need the entire trim piece that covers the radio (It is the same piece that holds the clock and hazards button, ashtray and also goes down to the shifter), since the A-holes broke it. Where can I purchase that?

3- Will a Factory 98 (or any other years with a cd player) Stereo with CD player be able to fit in a 95 accord? On Ebay, it seems that they would be the same size, but is it plug and play or do you need adapeters?

I appreciate any help. Please mail me with any offers or suggestions -Sam

Sorry hear about what happened...there are truly some retards out there..

1- I think I might still have my 95 factory stereo somewhere in the storage room...works fine, maybe a little dusty.

2- Go to wrecking yard...only place I can imagine you to find it.

3- I think the 98 should fit as well...as long as it's single DIN. You should be able to use the metal harness that's already on the 95...hopefully it's not bent or anything.

Email me if you still want the 95 Cassette stereo...I'll look for it then. Good luck!

Hey i live in NYC and still have my stock tape deck...one for the EX and one for an LX. I should be able to find the code for the EX and would give it to you for free if you come down to NYC to pick it up.

i'm not too sure on the differences, but I know the LX din't need a security code...the lx may not have a cd control feature don't remember it was out of my bro's 96 LX and the EX is my 94...

you can buy a new colsole piece at any honda parts reseller, including the dealer. any honda radio will fit with some installing tricks. most 98+ radios will need a new harness plug.

the stock ex radio puts out 20x4 watts, the lx radio puts out 15x4 watts i think, and has no security code

the factory 6th gen (98-02) decks w/CD players will physically fit into the 95, but the connector is different.
